The National Council of Psychotherapists

The National Council of Psychotherapists is one of the longest established societies of its type in the United Kingdom, being formed in 1971 following the 'Foster Report' on the statutory registration of psychotherapists, is a national association of therapists, mainly in private practice, to whom the public may confidently refer. The General Hypnotherapy Register -- GHR
The GHR is the practitioner registering agency for The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC), an umbrella body comprised of approximately 60 organisations which collectively provide a forum for continuing unification within the profession.
